• Inner conductor: 1.1 mm CCS Copper-clad steel or CCS is a composite in which a concentric copper cladding is metallurgically bonded to a steel core through a continuous, solid-cladding process using pressure rolling for primary bonding. The copper-cladding thickness remains constant surrounding the steel and measures 3% of the overall wire diameter, yielding a composite conductivity of 21% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard). The steel core can consist of any grade to meet the mechanical properties required for specific applications. The wire combines the strength of steel with the conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper. These properties make CCS wire and strand ideal for many telecommunication, utility, electronic, military, automotive, and general industry applications.
