Possible ways to connect your PC or laptop to your TV

There are various ways to connect a PC, laptop or Mac to a TV screen, below are the most common connections.

Laptop to HD TV - Option 1
If your laptop has a VGA connection and your TV has a VGA connection then the following cable will be ideal for video:

For audio you will require either of the following depending on the connection available on your TV:

Alternatively you can use our Monitor cable (M/M) with 3.5mm Stereo Audio cable that combines a standard VGA cable with the audio feed terminated as either a 3.5mm jack or 2 x RCA with the included adapter.

If your laptop has a DVI-I connection and your TV has a VGA connection then the following cable will be ideal for video:

Laptop to Analogue TV - Option 1

If your laptop has a S-Video and 3.5mm jack connection and your TV has a Scart connection then the following cable will be ideal for video and sound:

If your laptop has a S-Video and 3.5mm jack connection and your TV has a 3 x RCA (red, white and yellow) connection then the following cable will be ideal for video and sound:
